In 1963 , Raoul Rolly became a grain broker.Two years later, he decided to extend his activity, and began to also work in the seed business as a sales agent.
   - in 1965 he started in south east France with corns, sunflowers and cereals.
   - in 1966 he worked as a sole agent in south east France and Italy where he set up a commercial network in partnership with Italian companies that he sometimes played a great part in creating himself.
Thanks to a partnership with Colleges and Institutes, the new varieties of seeds are tested within various climates and soils. Then, after an accurate selection, the new variety is registrated, protected and commercialized.
In 1975 he became the first French broker to work at the Turin commodity stock exchange.
In 1990 , with the creation of CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) Raoul ROLLY asked himsellf concerning the future market direction.
A market evolution simulation over 10 years emphazises :
   - An overall decrease of farmers incomes
   - The amalgamation of millers
Consequently, Raoul ROLLY set up a new strategy based on the creation of added high value products, still in order to meet the needs of all the involved parties of the stream. The wheat stream is born
In 1999 / 2000 , lRaoul ROLLY set up the SOYA stream with industrialists backup (manufacturers, extruders). The stream contracts are monitored from start to finish by us, from the certified seeds to the soya beans for human consumption.
We have been implementing a stream for cattle food suppliers since 2000, with our triticales (Swiss origin) based on wheat, not on rye. Cattle food manufacturers are highly interested in this because of the high protein and starch rate as well as the little cellulose.
Today we are also focusing on CORN, but our motto is unchanged: To meet the industrialists needs.
We want to point out that all the stream (from the seed to the consumption) is controlled and monitored from start to finish by us.
Thus, all the parties involved (from the farmer to the consumer) can take advantage of it as far as quality and profitability are concerned.
Agriculture is currently the media’s focal point as stakeholder of our whole environment. We are deeply convinced to be in total adequacy with our future.

The SARL Raoul ROLLY created in 1994, is composed of :
   - A brokerage department, grain broking (consumption)
- A supply department, Research & Development (pre-basic, basic and certified seeds)
